#Chain 24 – The Chen Report – released to mark his 40th birthday

Following our Chain – A letter of hope? – we received further information concerning The Chen Guangcheng investigation, passed on to us by Reggie Littlejohn President of Women’s Rights without Frontiers.  

We would like to publish the translation of the condensed facts from the report with the help of our excellent team of translators.

#Chain 19 – A letter of hope? Petition for Chen Guangcheng

Slightly different from previous Chains – but just as important – we are asking supporters of the Great Translation Chain to translate a letter sent from the Jubilee Campaign demanding action, on behalf of the Women’s Rights without Frontiers, to free blind activist lawyer Chen Guangcheng who exposed the fact that there were 130,000 forced abortions and involuntary sterilizations in the Linyi County of China in 2005.

Unfortunately recent reports concerning Chen are not very positive; however this makes the job of awareness raising through translation all the more important.
